Greenie! (Matcha Brownie)

It's GREENIE not brownie because it it GREEN! After baking brownies with Reese's centered then I kinda think of new ways to make brownie works. So I decided to change cocoa powder to green tea and centered it with red beans pastes as a subtitution of Reese's chocolate. And guess what!? My friends lurve them!
INGREDIENTS:
flour (sifted) 1c
baking power 1/4tsp
butter 1c
sugar 1 1/4c
eggs 3
salt 1/2tsp
matcha powder 15g
a can of red bean paste

sift together flour, salt, and baking power

using a double boiler method: melt 1/2c of butter till it is all melted. then stir in matcha powder

in a mixer bowl, combine 1/2c butter and sugar till it looks like a fluffy butter cream

add in eggs and mix them well together once again

add in matcha mixture and mix the till it is nicely combined


red beans paste centered

stir red bean paste in a low heat saucepan till the paste is dry

dry enough to roll into small 1" balls

pour the batter in to a baking pan then press in red bean paste balls

Chocolate-Matcha Marble Cake

INGREDIENTS:

1+2/3c flour

1tsp baking powder

1/3c milk

2T cocoa powder

1+1/2 T matcha

3/4 c butter

1+7/8c icing sugar

4 eggs

3/4c ground almonds

1. warm the milk in a microwave. In a small bowl, dilute the cocoa w/ 1/2c of milk, and in another container, mix the remaining milk with the matcha.

stir them till they are diluted and set aside

2.whip the softened butter w/ the icing sugar

3. add the eggs one by one

4.then gradually mix in the flour

5.add in ground almonds

6.divide the batter in half in 2 seperate bowls. add the cocoa mixture into one and the matcha into the other.

7. alternately pour the different batters to the layer into a baking pan.

8. to create the marble pattern, pour half of the chocolate batter, cover with the matcha batter and then finish w/ the remaining chocolate batter.

bake at 180c for 45-50min

Matcha Chiffon Cake:
ingredients are divided into 3 parts

1st part: 90g cake flour, 1tsp baking powder, 1T powered milk, 60g sugar, 1/2tsp salt
2nd part: 40g vegetable oil, 3 yolks, 3tsp Matcha powder, 80g hot water
3rd part: 3 egg whites, 1/2tsp cream of tartar, 60g sugar

1. combine the 1st part of the ingredient together

2. shift it through the seive

3. beat the yolks

4.dissolve matcha into the hot water

5. pour the matcha into the yolks

6. add in sugar

7. combine the 1st part with the 2nd part

8. use the hand mixer and mix it well

9. there come the last part. use the electric mixer with high speed till the egg white soft and fluffy like in the picture. then add in cream of tartar and guadually add in sugar. continue on mixing with highspeed.

10.shift the egg white into the batter

11.carefully fold in the egg white

12. pour the batter into molds
bake it at 180c for 15-20min

MATCHA SAUCE


divided into 3 parts again:
1st part: 1tsp agar powder(ผงวุ้น), 100g milk, 10g matcha, 50g hot water, 45g sugar, 150g whipping cream
2nd part: 40g corn stratch, 110g evaporated milk
3rd part: 50g butter

1. in a sauce pan: dissolve matcha with hot water first then add in the first part of the ingredient set it on low heat

2.dissolve cornstratch with evaporated milk

3. add in the 2nd part of the ingredient

4. remove the sauce from the heat and add in the butter
